After the dream act passes???

I would probably just get in line and wait for my GC. Until that comes in the mail, the passing itself means pretty much nothing. Even if it were to pass today, you guys still wouldn't be able to a)get a DL b)get a SSN c)travel outside of the US.

Everyone seems to have this idea that DA = GC virtually immediately. Call me a pessimist but I'm sure we will have to wait at least as long for our GCs as the people who get married while being here legally. I think they still wait about 3 months to even get the EAC, and in some states even a legal SSN isn't enough to get a DL.

And GC receipients through marriage to a US citizen do not have to wait for a Visa number to become available. What if we have to?
