This is the kind of toxicity that I was referring to in my initial post.

It has become the new norm for folks to one up each other, to see who can hurl the most asinine insult. What was once found mostly on forums, has grown to be a global phenomenon on social media. People 'trolling' for the purpose of creating the most shock value possible. What a complete utter waste of time. The moment will come when people who utilize a sizable portion of their precious time to 'troll' will realize that they've wasted the one and only life that they have.

As I mentioned, I am guilty of having committed the above crime. But I can no longer accept that we take more value in insulting one another, instead of helping each other out.
