I am posting this forum in regards to a question I have regarding travel. I am currently an undocumented high school Junior attending high school in California. A few weeks ago I applied to an engineering summer program at Cornell University in New York called the CATALYST Academy. Yesterday I was told I was accepted and I would very much like to attend. My question is could I fly to New York with a school I.D. even though I am undocumented? I have been told by friends and teachers that I can because I am underage, but I want to be completely sure. In addition, if I can fly to New York should I take any precautions? Also, would taking a bus such as Greyhound be a better option? I would very much appreciate a speedy response due to the confirmation of attendance deadline for the program.
