Most of the people here probably dont have one though.
For me its been the easiest to find jobs through friends...

By the way its a bitch. I'm on my third year in computer engineering and there is a TON of work, internships, co-ops, everything and more, the only thing lacking is good engineers. It sucks being one and not being able to answer to people who are ready to give you a nice job and some even a signing bonus. People worry about outsourcing, well sometimes its the only answer because demand for all sorts of engineers is growing at a staggering rate in the US while the amount of people to do the job is well bellow that.
