I went to the SSA office today and they adjusted my earnings from the past 7 years to the new social. You only need all your W-2s, your EAD, and SSN card. No questions asked. My new # starts with 4. Also, I amended the last 2 years of my tax returns and I'm supposed to be getting $800 refunded =)
