I don't think that immigrants coming in now realize how different and difficult it is here. I have a cousin who told me he was planning on coming here and leave his family behind. I told him straight out that it wasn't worth it. you can't even work fast food joints now because of E-verify. Some might think I am a hypocrite because I am already here and was brought as a minor but I think parents who put their children through such circumstances as walking a month to MAYBE cross into the US is selfish. I still remember everything we went through as a six year old crossing illegally. Yes I am grateful that I am here but honestly, I could have stayed in Mexico. I have relatives my age that are professionals and living a good life and not having to deal with all this DACA limbo.
