Yeah... like at a minimum, won’t he need an approved I-130? Which means he couldn’t even AoS without getting married.
Edit: Hire a good attorney. Even if you’re a savant for navigating the complex rules of the US immigration system, an attorney will be beneficial. These people have considerably more experience DOING, and have industry contacts. Not a guarantee, but they will be better able to help you navigate your personal situation and concerns than an Internet forum.
