Today I received a mail from DMV stating:

"A review of your record shows that the previously issued California Driver License/Identification card was issued in error. In order to correct departmental records, a new card is being issued. Please destroy your previously issued California Driver License/Identification card or return to the Department of Motor Vehicles in the attached envelope."

My original ID was to expire in 5 years and the new ID expires in 2 years.

Not sure whats going on.....Anyone else receive such a letter? Any feedback?
