I was listening once again to the conference call of CIRNOW. Joe Onek, Senior Councl to Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi was on. He was asked a question about the chance if AgJobs/DREAM Act could be passed seperately if everything failed. In his opinion, this wasn't likely because if say they promised AgJobs people their bill would be passed by itself, then the people for more H1-B visas would start bothering them wanting their interests thought of seperately as well. Right now they are concentrating on comprehensive measure and its hard for them to say what the climate would be for passing seperate parts would be if the bill failed in the senate, or if it failed in the house.
He did mention though that having AgJObs in the bill would help get republicn and blue-dog democrats to vote for it.

Also Joe Onek stressed getting editorials out to local newspapers with your stories (this will especially help for getting votes in the House), especially heart-felt ones about students (DREAM Act) who are struggling to pay for college, etc because of their undocumented status. Calls, letters, faxes also important as well.

It's crunch time guys! Next 24 hours are very very important! Make as many calls as you can!
