I am applying for colleges right now and kind of hoping i can fix my status by the time i am done, since I am planning to go into Aerospace and someone I know offered to help me get an internship at NASA. But apparently that would be a no go since I cant obtain clearance. Good luck with your search, and I say go for it and most of the time you should have no problem unless they need some type of clearance or you work for Federal Government.
