If El Trumpo gets re-elected I’ll be out within a year after the election. I will probably need a year to liquidate my assets, ship some of my toys to where I’m headed, and wrap up some other things.

If a democrat gets elected I will give the dems 2 yrs from the election to come up with immigration reform and pass it. If nothing happens I’m out. I’m done, at this point in my life I need to make sure I’m securing my retirement and all my hard work counts towards my eventual retirement. Leaving back to Europe within the next 3 yrs should ensure I have enough time to build a secure enough retirement.

I work remotely quite a bit right now so I’ll prolly just try to work out an arrangement with my current employer to continue employment as a remote european employee. It makes very little difference to me which country I’m paying my income tax into. If the US does not want it I’m fine paying into another country that does.
