My other thought was to wait and see what congress does (I'm very optimistic they'll pass DA). Assuming they do, get my green card through that and then apply through my partner to remove provisional green card status and help speed up the citizenship process, although I'm not in a hurry to become a citizen. Not sure if that's even possible or would make sense.
