Still, it honestly doesn't matter, there are people in US that have Green Cards from the 1980s that have no expiration date and they are in no hurry to replace them since they don't expire and the worst that happens is CBP being annoyed that they have to type stuff in by hand.

great response! i could care less to be honest - all that matters is that I have a valid card allowing me to work legally.
I prefer this design over the new one in either case
