1.6 billion and no wall. At the end of these negotiations, democrats will claim they care about border security. "We offered 2 billion for border security and we didn't even want anything in return, how can republicans say we support open-borders?" This would be a decent move by dems and shoot down those that say they want open-borders.

The only counter I can see from republicans is offering wall + permanent DACA. Blame dems for not helping dreamers if they decline and brag about their wall if dems accept.

I think as time goes on in these negotiations, more things will be added in the discussion.
