That's why they first send you a receipt and ask you to check your information for any errors. If you never call them and you just decided to go do your biometrics then of course they're going to assume that there is nothing wrong with your information and proceed with the biometrics.

My full name on my biometrics appointment letter was correct including the full spelling of my middle name. All other notices have only had an initial for the middle name placement which was also correct so it wasn't because of me.
