There seems to be a delay in the issuance of receipt numbers and cashing of the fee payment. I sent my AOS application earlier this month on Jul 10th but still did not get receipt numbers and USCIS still did not withdraw the fees. Before they used to do it by the second week I believe. Is the slow progress due to USCIS's expected furloughs? Is anyone else having similar issue like this?
