The EAD should be enough to satisfy lawful status requirement. If you scroll up on the link to
"Source Documents for Age and Identity", it has:
- Unexpired employment authorization documents (EAD), Form I-766 or I-688B issued by the U.S. DHS*
For those marked with an asterisk, it states:
* Also satisfies lawful status requirements.
