Comm. college transfer to four year university is a great option especially if most costs will come out of your pocket. At the end of the day employers will mainly look at your upper division courses (last 2 years or so for your degree program) and the actual university you got your degree from. The fact that you transferred from cc will be irrelevant, just make sure that you keep up a good GPA in those upper division courses.

I have many friends that took that route and it did not affect them when it came time for employment. Again, if money will be an issue then this route is best to mitigate financial difficulties in the future.
