It's been a while but I got an update. For anyone that wants to compare timelines heres mine,

Dec 6th I sent back my EAD card with the typo to NE service center along with birth certificate and copies of my passport and Mexican Matricula Consular card.

Jan 11 I got the update saying they received my correspondence.

Mar 1 I got the update of the name change and card production.

From what I've seen I should be getting my card mailed to me very soon Hope everyone else suffering from this dilema I pray it is fixed soon and stay patient.
