The Connecticut In State Tuition Bill for Undocumented Students (Governor's Bill 6930) was voted out of the Higher Education Committee of the Connecticut General Assembly this Thursday!

Below are two links with articles covering the Public Hearing that the Higher Education Committee had on the Bill this week. Several DREAMers testified in front of the Committee

The next step is the Appropriations Committee. The group I'm part of, CT Students for a DREAM, (we're a very new/small DREAM Act advocacy group in CT) will continue to work for this bill. If anyone is interested in getting involved, let me know!
