Posts that fail to follow these guidelines will be deleted; they will not be moved.

In order to preserve the clarity of information as well as to provide easy access to sources we require that all posts follow the following format and adhere to forum rules.

All posts must provide a link to the cited information, if you can't find the link then your post belongs in The Lounge.

Before you post make sure your source is:

Reputable

A reputable source is a one that maintains a high degree of professionalism and has a history of quality reporting. National newspapers and magazines are preferred but lesser known sources are acceptable provided they uphold the same degree of quality. Much important information comes from local journalists familiar with the topic and from blog entries of well known academics and legal professionals - these are also acceptable. Links to random personal blogs are not acceptable.

Pertinent

Does the source discuss the DREAM Act or at the very least immigration reform? Joe the Plumber mentioning immigrants doesn't count; an announcement of a Senator retiring very much does. Exercise good judgment here.

Informative

News only. A six month old article about Obama mentioning DREAM has probably been discussed to death and posted a dozen times. Similarly, an immigration lawyer mentioning that he's hopeful about immigration reform this decade is probably mostly a waste of time.

If your source meets these criteria then:
  1. Format your post with a clear, concise, and understandable subject.
  2. Post the link to your source.
  3. Copy the body or excerpt of the article into your post.
  4. Make sure it's formatted for reading and not simply jumbled up words.

If in doubt or requiring help with anything ask for help in another section of the forum.
