So applied for AP got travel document today...
let's say my document is approved from April 1st to October 1st 2016.
DO I MUST TRAVEL OUT OF THE COUNTRY with in those dates..
OR ONCE APPROVED and have travel document in my hand I can leave anytime
as long as of course I RETURN with in those dates.?

Have you tried searching other threads? I'm not sure, but I think you just need to be back in the country on or before 10/1. And your passport can't be withing 90 days of expiring.

So assuming those dates, here is what your AP doc will look like. It will have an "issue date" of April 1st and it will say "Presentation of this doc prior to Oct 1st will allow an officer to parole you back in the country". Basically you must leave the country April 1st or after and get back on Oct 1st or before. If you mess up with this, do not expect to step back in the country.

You should leave on April 1st or after and return before the expire date atleast 1 week before i would say just to be on safe side.

how long did it take you to receive your AP and where do you send your application?

no not at all. I think it all depend on the officers. My sister got approved in 4 weeks.

Ok cause im trying to send my application this week and need to be approved and ap document in hand by maybe may 15 for my travel. So im worrying a lot
