Just talked to the company attorney, they said they are ready to transfer me to one of the Canadian office if DREAM Act does not happen.

They initiated the conversation.

Anyone else had conversations like this with their company too?

Before. But be aware of one thing... for example, where I was born there is little tech career except for the big guys - which is fine and I work for one of them. But it means I have limited options when it comes to jobs.

If you don't have many ties to the US (family, etc) it's a good deal. who knows what the future will bring here.

My company can even relocate me to my home country but all I know is the life here. If it comes to going back to the shadows or transferring home, the latter but going to maximize the EAD for as long as I can.

Applying for extension today.

Yea that was brought up before and the attorney says it might be the best option (before the DACA reinstatement).

I am very fortunate to be working in a high tech field for one of the biggest company in the world.

I am contemplating this option very much.
