Not for a long while, immigration is not in a good place right now with the crisis at the border so it's no use bring a bill to the floor. A bill that is bipartisan in nature and addresses the border + daca has a better change but no bill exists as of yet.

Is there even a chance that dream act will get its vote in the senate?

Probably not. Give it another 10 or 20 years once the Dreamer population is getting closer to 50 years old.

I think it will.. Dems will want to declare the win and show the GOP as xenophobic before 2022 mid-terms... They want the Latino vote..

There is currently no bill that can get the required number of votes in the Senate.. The sides are deadlocked and no one wants to be the first to offer a deal especially with the ongoing border crisis.

Sad reality. We may not have that privilege in our lifetime but I still feel it's too early to lose hope. I wish you guys won't lose yours too.

doubtful. Dems couldn't hold to a house seat in LA, will likely lose the senate in 2022, and Joe will be an even lamer duck than he already is by then. We'll retry in 2024 but odds are dems lose the WH again.

Biden approval rating hit 60% early April. Administration doing a great job rolling out the vaccine programs and way ahead of schedule to getting 100 mil vaccinated. US now has enough to vaccinate all 300 M. If this continues I doubt 2022 will be a bad midterm. Also 2022 congressional seats more republicans are up for re-election.

I agree, and dem will push another popular infrastructure bill which they will campaign on. Don't forget the economy is recovering faster than predicted. If nothing big happens between now and 2022, Dems can keep the senate, or pick up some seats.

The big question is the house. They need to create a better message and keep their defund everything crowd in check. I felt that costed them seats in 2020.

If GOP loses the 2022 midterm in a big way, that will help loosen Trump's hold over them and push the hawks back.

We’re being held hostage by both parties. Our only hope is a dreamer president.
