As many of you know work permits are comig your way but are you ready financially? I would love to have an expert response of what may be the total costs of the process. I have been saving money aside for this purpose. I know solely the application is around 400-500 dollars.

I don't have a care if it cost me $3000. I can make that money with a work permit and more without having to work under the table.

Apparently for the employment authorization if we are granted to have our deportation withheld the application fee is waived which would be about $350. And I think deferred action would qualify as withholding deportation. Now as for a fee to apply for deferred action I don't know of the cost.

I've got a lot going on right now with having to help pay for a lawyer for my mom's ticket and everything, but where there's a will there is a way. I'll find that money some how.
