wow. I don't know what to say. I just got pulled over 30 minutes ago in the most anti-immigrant state in the nation (sc) and got two tickets worth over $300 for speeding and no DL. He said I was doing 45 on a 30, I didnt even realize it. wow.

omg.

Im so freaked out right now, how is it that Im still able to be here and tell you guys about it??? GOD IS REAL!! omg!! wtf!!! the police officers were really nice and everything, even if I was hispanic (they were both white guys) and they let me go, told me to drive slow and have a good day.

I dont even care about the tickets. Im still in the USA.

Thank you Jesus.

YAY! Glad nothing else happened. BTW Do tickets get put on your record? Or you just have to pay the fees and that's it?

I've seen that happen a lot. It seems people often do not realize how fast they are going in a car. When I'm driving a car and I'm going at 40 it doesn't feel like I'm going really fast, but when I'm in my motorcycle...even at 30mph I know I'm going fast. It is probably the air in your face and the view of the pavement under your feet.

Anyways, drive more carefully; next time you may not be this lucky.

Oh man good to hear that those cops were good with you. Sometimes all they really want is for you to show them respect and be nice to them when they approach you. I've gotten out of like 4 tickets by just being nice and truthful. Oh and the tickets do stay in your record, its considered a part of the moral grounds thing. The way you get out of it is by attending traffic school. When i used to do citizenship applications, theirs a part in the N-400 application that says how many tickets you have gotten in the last 5 years and how you resolved them. Either by paying fine, by community service or other. So watch out with the tickets and if you do get them just pay them off.

I'm really happy that you are still here with us and that no real harm came to you. However, I'm sure that you will agree with me that your experience is hardly evidence for the existence of some god. Having said that, once again, I am really happy that you are all good.
