Just know that if join the Army, you'll most likely be shipped off to Afghanistan (or Iraq) within the first year of enlistment.

And if you think having your family blow up on you is tough, try having other things/people blow up all around you.

Anyway, if you provide fake documents, you're not going to get very far. They'll do a background check and find out the truth. That girl that is fighting to get her citizenship used someone else's identity, which is why she was able to get in. She was "lucky."

I know you must be going through a tough time, but lying to the government and attempting to join the military is NOT the solution. Good luck. I hope things get better for you.

If you try to get in with fake papers, they will catch you. Who do you think you are dealing with here, this is not some high school class trip that you faked your moms signature. They will catch you, arrest you, deport you. Besides, joining the army in 2010 is plain nuts. You will make the equivalent of a manager in mcdonalds, and you will turn into a different person after a couple of deployments. Think about going through the rest of your life in a wheelchair for example...sorry to be dramatic, but America is at war, and this thing is not going away.

I have no other options but to prove them wrong and join the Army. I called a recruiter to make an appointment in two days, and the recruiter asked me if I was a resident. I said that it was all in progress with a lawyer, and that I've been here since I was a little kid.

He basically told me to come in.

Anyone have experience doing this?

If I have to give fake papers I will. I have to do something with my life.
That is fraud, illegal, IMMORAL, and if you are caught, you might be more than deported. You might get hard prison time and then be banned from the country for life!
