Hey guys!

I just wanted to share the good news. I got into Graduate school! I will hopefully be getting my masters in molecular biology I wanted to do nursing as my plan A (did not get into any MSN programs) but graduate school is pretty good too right? The only thing I am worried about is getting back into school mode. I haven't had a class since 09 :'( Oh and I still need to take the GRE.

Anyway, yay!!

P.S. Happy Mothers Day!!

Congratulations!

U haven't taken GRE yet and got into a grad school?? Is it because you applied to masters (some masters program do not require GRE, I think) or is it because you had an excellent GPA?

@ Ihaveabigdream- I did not need to have my GRE score when I applied to the program because I had a good gpa but I eventually do have to take the exam. (scared!)

@ Luckygirl- I miss you too girlfriend! I have been going through a lot and have not been able to log onto DAP I hope all is well with you!!!

@ Icecreampony- Thanks! I will accept your offer I think a Long Island should do it for me or maybe a Malibu Rum LOL

Also, if anyone needs any advice please don't hesitate to contact me. I've gotten where I am because of great connections and I feel I must pass it on

congrats, talk to someone doing their master's in the same thing to know which classes are best to ease you into school mode. I made the mistake of taking the harder courses the 1st semester, and that wasn't fun.

Congratulations!

I've thought about applying to grad school, but don't know how to pay for it.

Some of my friends are in grad school but they all TA to pay for school; they are considered employees by the school.

I obviously can't do what they're doing. How are you paying for school?

Thanks.

@ 0123, Fresh, Plop - Thank you!

@ Ali - I've been talking to some students doing their masters and they tell me to take the easy courses but my ego is telling me to take the difficult ones

@ jrpallares - Apply to grad school as soon as you can! I hate myself for wasting so much time after I got my Bachelors. Also, an undocumented youth once told me to ask a fellow grad student to put his/her name on the check and then give it to you. He said this worked for him. I don't know if I could do that though. I am going to pay with the money I saved and my parents are also going to help me. PM me if you have any more questions. Are you in CA by any chance?
