This ^. Sadly, I can definitely use lots more development in this department, so that'll definitely be a top priority 4 me. I've even got most of the resources I'll use 2wards that goal already researched & on my list just waiting 2 be purchased & used. Let me know if anyone's interested & I'll share my info. Glad I'm not the only one. :^D

I'll probably go crazy for a bit and cry at the same time. File my paperwork. Go to school. Get my degree. And write a book about my struggles. And if I become a doctor and save lives. I'm always gonna wonder how many more I could have saved.

But first of all I'm going to get an ID And then I'm not gonna show it to anyone cuz IDs always have horrible pics.

I was gonna say I'd go drive ten miles over the speed limit too. But I don't want to risk it till I'm a resident

First day it is enacted? I will wait for the Homeland Security memo on how to proceed with the application.

I certainly will not celebrate until I hear about the first person actually getting their status adjusted. Nothing is certain, until you have it in your hand.

Yes, i also don't understand why the hell everyone needs lawyers for everything. Don't you know how to read English? Do you also not have access to the internet for questions, etc? I'd fill out all the stuff by myself ; i'm not giving away thousands of dollars to puny lawyers to write papers for me. I'll only get one if it's absolutely necessary.

An experienced reputable lawyer with long term tenure is very important. This is about immigration and everything needs to go smooth all the way to when one becomes a USC. You want to give an excellent impression and it looks good on record when you go with a lawyer. You may have to spend a $1000-2000 extra but it will be worth it and piece of mind. Remember each individual's situation is different.

I'm not risking it. If I don't dot my i's and cross my t's correctly and my application gets denied I'm going to be pissed. But then again, just because I have a lawyer doesn't mean I'm going to take their word for it. Two heads are better than one!

If you're dealing with anything that has to do with the law get a lawyer. They make sure you don't get screwed, and trust me if you aren't aware of EVERYTHING you'll get screwed.

True, you want everything to go smoothly from start to finish in first try. You don't want any bumps or else it will cause more problems and delay.
