24 Here, CS Major.

I got approved like february i think, got all my shit, got tons of interviews doing other things, because CS sucks dick.

I work for Ford Motor Company now, not major related at ALL but I have fun and it pays pretty well

got new car, got new luxury apt.

Getting a job is SO EASY, i don't understand why anyone with a degree can't get a 40k job right off the bat. Career builder is ENGULFED with decent paying jobs. Nordstrom keeps offering me jobs, asking me to come in for interviews, Aflac wants to hire me if I want to move to Vegas, but not for 35K. Making money is easyyyyy

28 years old here. got a job as a medical coding specialist, starting probation salary of 40k. I do have a second job, paying about 20k in cash. i really do wish to make around 70-80k a year and DACA helped me so much. I used to make around 36k before DACA, but with a new job things are looking up for the first time in 10 years. I cant thank Obama and this country more. I have to disagree with the post above. getting any job might be easy, but getting a job fits you is hard.

27 years old, soon to be 28. I just graduaded from college with an AAS degree and plan on getting my BS. I got a job in my field of study and I am liking it a lot. I am still very much uncertain about my future, that's why I would like CIR to happen, God willing, it will. We'll see.

Only because i know I'll be a citizen by the time I graduate. (hubby)
We have similar plans.

I am starting my AA at Broward College. I start classes on 5/13. After that I plan to transfer to FAU to get my Bachelors and eventually my Masters in Social Work.
I would also like to work for the goverment. My husband currently works for the goverment.

I really hope CIR passes, atleast the senate's bill in it's current form. That way I could potentially be a USC not long after graduating.

I just graduated from college in december. DACA came at the perfect time cuz without it I wouldn't be able to get a teaching credential in CA. It was too late to apply for the fall when I got approved but I plan to go back to school fall 2014 and do the credential. between now and then I just want to get any job so I can save up for school. Although I've been approved since feb, I haven't had luck finding anything cuz I have no experience :'(

Hey we are almost the same....I'm 27 graduated back in 2007, I have an rn degree from TX, haven't been able to take the NCLEX yet. In my case , I can't take the TX NCLEX no more...here in texas if you don't take the nclex within 4 yrs after graduation, you are not allowed to take it ever again..unless you do nursing school again or ask another state for permission to take it with them...which im in the process of doing.. well at least I have an option. I want to become a crna or go for a biochemistry degree w a teaching certificate, in case no state lets me take the nclex.
