My initial application was routed to Texas Service Center. Texas wasn't too slow but not as fast, so I was hoping that my renewal would be sent to somewhere else. But I feel better now that I've received e-mail and text notification.

Receipts (acceptance of your application) and biometrics notifications were always printed on plain white paper. Once you receive the final decision (notice of action) then that will be printed on the watermark paper.
