well my credit has finally started paying off. I've had a capital one credit card with 2000 limit for about almost 2 years now. up until couple of days ago I've had no luck trying to open other cards or even able to pass a credit check from phone companies. about a week ago a saw the discover card which had the 0 apr for 18 months and 5% cash back on purchases i decided what the hell ill go for it.

i applied for it thinking hell I'm probs gonna be denied. 4 days later i got a card from them along with my equifax credit score which i have never been able to obtain. i had only been able to get transunion because of capital one card, turns out my score with equifax is a 760. any way today i decided to try my luck and get some phones well what do you know i was able to get the phones.

Whoa how did ur credit score go from "no history" a year back.. To 800's? I sense some kind of misunderstanding. Well for you sale, hope not. You probably just got lucky somehow idk.. Still confused .

I would suggest that you open a secured card with the same bank that you have a checking account with. Typically they are more willing to approve your secured card request, regardless of your credit history.

Best of luck!!

Sorry i havent responded, im still trying to sort out all of my information. I got sent three letters from the three credit places asking for additional docs, standard things like proof of address and id. I sent those in and have so far only fixed the problem with one bureau, the other two im still trying to sort things out, i got a letter from one saying my social is not on record with the social security administration and the third bureau i can not get a hold of bcz they do not have a call number you can reach them at unless they give you a case number i didnt write mine down so im going to have to get a hold of them through writing. This whole process is just going to take a while. But those two credit card applications i processed caused me two hard inquiries that are going to stay on record for two whole years.

Your just going to have to send in documents like proof of address, a copy of your ss card, and id. Mail them into the three credit bureaus, they should have their address posted on each of their websites, with instructions on what you need to do to get your credit score from each one individually, that is the key, start by making sure your info is correct with all three. Thats the only way they will verify your identity and match your ss#, and then hopefully show your credit history.
