Opening a Wells Fargo acct online

Hey Guys!

This is my first time opening one online for wells fargo. Are we considered "resident aliens" or "nonresident aliens?" If you select non-resident alien, you are not able to open an acct with them. I'm not sure if they're asking whether or not I live within the US. I'm hoping I don't get too much criticism for this silly question. I just want to answer correctly. Thanks!!

Oh really? Even if it doesn't allow you to select nonresident alien? It says that they aren't opening accts for that at this time. They sent me an email to go into a branch in person. I'll see how that goes. Thank you!!!

I love WF! Except you have to do everything in person. I've had them since 2008 and they are definitely willing to work with you as they are legally allowed to.

Wells Fargo does not allow you to open a credit card with them if you are not a citizen. Take your business elsewhere. We are definitely not welcomed there. I had there secured credit card for 6+ months, got approved for their unsecured card but was unable to move forward because I could not show proof of US citizenship.

Isnt Wells Fargot the bank that give loans out?
