No, depends on what you qualify for. Here are most if not all the ways to have residency in the United States: 245i w/ FB or EB immigrant category visa, CAT, U visa after holding it for 3 years, Asylum, Cancellation of Removal, Suspension of Deportation, DV Lottery under 245i, Registry and of course Marriage adjustment if an overstay.

Shit guys, I am reaching a point now where I am honestly having a difficult time to figure out what to do. I have an approved I-130, and I-131. My I-131 was approved to go for work to Israel but my company does not want to send me until summer time and I worry DACA can be taken away at any time so my urgency to leave is higher now. I can go back to Guatemala early February but I am EWI so I still need to file the motion/joint motion to terminate that removal order.

I am debating going to Guatemala for the weekend and taking care of some family business while I am there without doing the motion. Or doing the motion, waiting and praying that DACA is okay until two months from now where I get a possible approval to terminate the removal order, and go then to Guatemala or do that and wait until summer time for work.

Has anyone gone to another country other than the one they got approved to go to for I-131 with no issues? I am okay with some risks, at this point in life I just want to adjust and be done with all this.

Not really looking for answers here just wanted to vent since you guys/gals I am sure have similar set up in life and understand where I am coming from.

I will say this, AP w/a removal order and Trump and Sessions in power is a bad idea. Do it the right way and be patient! Take care of the motion first, then use AP.

Bumping a question I had earlier regarding whether the Petitioner spouse's parents are notified during AOS. All responded no, and that is consistent with my understanding. I'm only asking now because information about Petitioner spouse's parents is asked on G-325A.

Would like to hear the answer to this, as well.

in my experience, my husband's parents were not contacted/notified.

i believe this form is just to get biographical information that helps confirm the history/background of the individual and also to help the officer assess individual's basic information.

In my experience, neither parents were notified or contacted.

Your notice letter will tell u exactly what to bring. I brought all my DACA stuff (approval letters etc). Didn't really need it, but you never know. Go through the list they sent you in your notice letter and make sure to bring everything that they ask.
Good luck!
