The border security argument is pointless.

When you have people fleeing violence, they will do anything to get to the United States or any other relatively safer country. No wall or border patrol agent is going to stop them, period.

The more people flee their countries, the bigger the violence grows, and the more this becomes a perpetual cycle.

What's the solution? I honestly don't know. This immigration issue is part of a much bigger global problem that most people can't wrap their heads around.

True, but the majority of people are fleeing violence, or at least claiming to be.

And i know this because when i was in detention, like 90% of detainees were trying to apply for asylum.

Trump knew this was coming. Blame game at its finest.

On what planet is this a global issue when no other country other than America is faced with illegal immigration of such mass proportions. China, Australia, Germany, Italy, Switzerland... take your pick... every other European country isn't faced with millions of immigrants sneaking into their country and over staying on their visas. America's illegal immigration problem is solely a US one. The border was never secure. This is a self inflicted wound perpetuated by America to get low skilled immigrants to do jobs their Americans did not want to do. It backfired and now they have a population of 11 million people to contend with.

Socialist countries are hard to survive in without documentation.

American capitalism and low regulation environment and free enterprise lends itself for cheap labor. Another factor is the size of the country. If the U.S was the size of Germany, immigration enforcement would much cheaper.

Not everyone who is fleeing to the US or any other country in Europe is doing so because they are looking for a job. Hence why i said there is a much bigger picture out there that most people don't get.
