Totally agree. Got_Daca has closed down about 5 threads because of nonsense and bickering in just less than a week.

opinions are just opinions, I dont get why some of you get so riled up when someone says something you don't like.

With that being said

there are people here MORE than willing to throw anyone in front of a bus to get theirs, heck some people here are even showing they don't even need to get theirs to push someone into a moving bus, they would gladly do it

secondly, i am tired of this victim complex that plagues so many people i know; illegal, both mexican and other nationalites.
(this guy is an exception, because his wife is sick, so ICE should proceed with caution, and maybe he can stay under a "duress" exception.)
it's not the end of the world if you get deported.
don't allow people to paint you as a victim, as if you're a fucking child that politicians from BOTH sides just use as pawns.
do you know how pathetic it is when you have to have a fucking lawyer speak for you while your kids are crying because you don't tell them what's really going on?
take control of the situation.
save up money, etc.
4000 us dollars can get you very far when you're back in your country.
Not sure what planet you live on, but $4,000 USD won't do much for me in Europe.

Also, how did Obama give false hope? DACA is a lawful exercise of prosecutorial discretion. See Lennon v. US, and Arizona v. US.

That is the day he is supposed to get on a flight out of the country. He was not held in detention.

Does that mean he has to self deport by then. If he does not then he will be arrested and held in detention until they can get a judge order?

He is supposed to show up with a ticket direct flight out of the country at a later date.

The 50-year-old father and Bangladeshi immigrant is set to check back in with Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Nov. 20, a month after his last check-in at 26 Federal Plaza.

During that brief visit, ICE agents told him to return with a passport and a plane ticket back to Bangladesh.
I don't know why he filed for asylum when he had a green card.

Talukder came to the United States in the 1980s, when he was still a teenager, and qualified for the late amnesty program for green cards in 1990, he said.

He later filed for asylum after receiving death threats from the Jamaat Islami Party, a fundamentalist party, while visiting Bangladesh, he said.

There is a lot of misinformation in this thread.

It seems he applied for asylum when he found out about his status and the application process failed. He was therefore issued removal papers and has had it ever since. Even under Obama, he would have been a priority because of prior order. He is more than likely given voluntary departure at this point to depart under 120 days.
