So ive had my GC for a month now, and i know im probably just being paranoid.... But i keep checking my case status online and it still says: "Case was received at my local office" (2016) for my I-130 and "Card was picked up by the United States Postal Service" for my 485

I know i probably shouldnt worry anymore.... but i guess im just looking for a "proper closure" or does it just stay like that? will it ever say "approved" or "closed" or "you're free"? lol

They rarely update the status once you’re approved and received your card

We have a few contributing posters with GCs or that have naturalized that post here.

I know some had delays updating the online status. My was updated late to provide the tracking # and I already had the PR card. Call USCIS and let them know.

Call USCIS, get the tracking number, and check that they mailed it to the right address.

If Post Office lost it then you'll have to file I-90. If it was never delivered then you'll get it for free. If it was delivered then USCIS will likely reject your arguments and you'll have to file I-90 with the appropriate fee.
