ICE has strict quotas and they are trying to pad their deportation numbers. Going as far as ending the DA by ICE, catching people when they meet with parole officers.

Though, comically, they are still doing catch and release because they don't have deportation capacity. Crazy how it all started once venezuelans showed up and started demanding things. Mexicans had this entire system working well for both countries but no, Venezuelans showed up and started demanding this and that and it enraged the voting public.

I don't see information published that states this person has a criminal background. In order to receive DA and keep it, he had to go through background checks. Having a final order of removal does not mean criminal and DACA did not prevent Dreamers with orders from receiving DACA. Before DACA, anyone was put through the system and would end up with orders, which is why they created guidelines to not go after people who are not criminals or a harm risk to society.

They didn’t have daca because in other to get daca they needed to be here continuously since June 15, 2007.

He’s 24 and he came here when he was 13? That’s 2014

Here, it's mentioned that there are lawyers who specialize in ICE cases and can step in during situations like this. It might be a good idea to consult a specialist like those at Oberheiden P.C., especially when it involves a DACA recipient working legally in the education system.
