Alright guys we need to relax. I am hopeful that DACA recipients will be protected one way or another. They could stop it for new applicants but for current or renewals they will figure out a way. After all DACA recipients have EAD's, SS #, many have auto or home loans, jobs, pay taxes etc etc the administration has to think about all this before they make a decision. So just pray, hope for the best and wait patiently

Um no. The letter from the generals say they want Trump to stop issuing renewals as well, so we're all lucked out.

He should of canceled daca on Friday if he was going to do it. The hurricane helped cover up this arpaio pardon and transgender military ban.

I am but I don't get what that has to do with it? The letter literally says to stop issuing renewals too. If Trump grandfather's you all that would be great. I don't know if you're trying to be funny or not but that's what the letter literally says. Read it perhaps?

Lol that's the same vibe I got from his or her response. I was just tying to point out what the letter says and it says no new applicants or renewals and to phase out, and I guess that was funny somehow. People man lol. We're all undocumented immigrants.

It sucks that we have to start thinking of options. I have no one in my home country, but I do have the option of living anywhere in the EU, but I can't imagine picking up and starting over!

Either way, I am still hopeful and optimistic that something good will come out of this. I really think if DACA was to be rescinded, Trump would have wasted no time to let the Twitter-verse know.

I'm not above anybody, it's just funny how everybody wants the option that benefits them. All man for themselves.
