@Alex - damn why are all Baltic peoples so angry and miserable... I gotta admit, the system fucked you good and that really sucks, but life goes on bro... you gotta live and be happy doing it... Negativitity is alot like jerking off... it could feel good for a while but it's not subsitute for a Pony's pussy... or asshole.. whatever your particular preference may be... Stop saying stupid shit about how you are all opressed and someone is stepping on your throat all the time.. I am pretty sure in Albania people are oppressed because someone is stepping on their throats all the time (literally)...

Happy New Year!

I don't understand why you come on DAP. You clearly do not support the Dream Act and on top of that you are a racist. We don't give a fuck about your material things either. You come off as some dick who came from a shit poor country/family.

Well he did it the "right" way.
Yes the Dream Act Failed, yes we are criminals, yes we are illegals, a lot of us are illiterate, most are wetbacks, we have the most shittiest job in this country, and only few have iPads. So what? But bashing us to hone your self esteem online is not the way to go big man. If you wish to feel superior why don't you do it off line face to face. Did an illegal alien "wetback" impregnated your "wife" and now you have an "anchor" baby? Why so much hate considering you are an immigrant yourself? To some you are just some well educated young hindu with a dot on his forehead praying to a statue with 10 arms, eating curry in your living room while watching the hindu channel.

^^ that scenario is outrageous!

The truth is that bimmerfan, whiteout, theboys2010 are all
Michelle Malkin with various accounts

Lets face it,

These users come to a forum to absolutely pick apart and
Degrade us with their "arguments".
There's no debating with them because once they run out of
"truths" aka opinions, they either say: you lose, you're ignorant or
"that is why America (insert "fact"here)"

Michelle's "lacras" are on a fucking trolling spree.
There's no negotiation w. Them. Except for whiteout...

Anyway, do the right thing. Flag them for trolling
Then press the control panel link. Press misc. Add them to ignore.

America's irrationals will always flock to troll FOX's targets.

Yeah, you've been ignored.

How is it sad? Your degree is forever. Eventually DA will pass. We are closer then ever now.

Student Visa is better then being undocumented. My brother went from a Student Visa to being a US Citizen. There is a path to citizenship from a F1 Student.

You really do not need a degree to be successful unless you want to be a doctor, lawyer, etc.

There are 'Engineers' who do earn over $60K a year with no degree. You can always get Certified in some new skill and get a new job, its faster and cheaper.

Wake up and smell the coffee. Start living like you are on a student visa. Think of it as if your time is limited in this shithole and you will return after some time.

Just because you haven't been caught yet, don't mean you wont be dragged out of a bus later on; things will only get harder. Stop wasting your time with this DA b/s. We all lobbied for years and in the end we saw the nastiness of American politics and its public. Call/ fax/ stage riots all you want, the end result is the same. Lack of myth-busting by the media and rhetoric will prevail.

Choose your degree wisely. You have to be able to adjust your job and lifestyle accordingly. You see these "engineers" who earned 60k a year; now they are unemployed because they don't know how to do anything else. Know how to do more than 1 thing, be flexible with your knowledge. We can all memorize the textbook and then take a test. I'm not saying become master liars for a living (Mando) but we have to be professorially flexible; like a hooker who makes time for all her clients in the booming season of April (Erik).

We live in a service industry, we borrow 1.6 billion a day just to survive http://usdebtclock.org/ shuffling paper around. The latest reports show jobs created abroad is in the millions. http://blogs.wpri.com/2010/12/29/us-...jobs-overseas/

But anyways, I want the best for you all; just believe that you are brighter than all those fuckers that hold a document. The test of time showed us the true colors and potential of some people... you did it against all odds.

Both Mando and Erik have acquired too much experience for such descriptions.

thanks latino dreamers for all the hard work. sometimes i think "lobbying" for the dream act is another excuse for most brownies to just stay out of school or out of working anyways. "i'm just busy lobbying for the dream act! i don't have time to work or go to school". i mean just think about it, most of the dream act students in universities are european or asian.
Whoa Whoa! You are a little racist to "brownies" huh? I'm latino and I feel kind of offended, it seems that in all of your post you are always talking about brown people or "brownie dreamers". Not all of us are the way you are describing us. I work and I'm trying to become a nurse. Personally I think that you need to chill with the whole brown stuff, because at the end of the day we are all together and we are all dreamers and most importantly we are all ILLEGAL.

I agree with you, but honestly what you're saying can be taken more as an advice for younger people on this forum, than a reality check for the older crowd like myself.

Think my time is limited in the US? It's easier said than done. Ironically enough, it actually IS limited, but it is very hard to convince yourself of the truth. And the limit is based completely on chance. You never know when something might happen and the likelyhood of getting deported is fairly small.

Choosing my major wisely? God, I wished I still had that option. I pretty much have the most useless degree for someone without papers (Physics); Almost no possibility of getting matriculated into a grad. program despite having almost 3 years of it done already. No possibility of getting a job in the field without being able to pass even the most basic BG check either.

At this point I'm just too tired to go through another 3+ years of working and studying full time to essentially just pay for something that I might possibly be able to use somewhere else. I no longer have some crazy dreams of even crazier accomplishments. I just want to live independently and be able to make a steady enough paycheck. This stuff is by no means guaranteed in other countries, and by leaving here you lose a really big safety net that is your family and friends.

To summarize, I don't know what I am going to do now that the DA didn't pass. I was actually more inclined to leave the US a year ago than I am now, because back then I at least felt like I was making some sort of a choice...and I was younger. They really couldn't have picked any better time for the vote. Right before Christmas, to emphasize that there is no
such thing as fairness or god or whatever fuck else people cling onto in their hour of need, AND before New Years, to especially let you know you just wasted another year of your life waiting for something that might never come.

You are older than me and you are much more experienced with life. I hang around with many friends way older than me (in their early 30's), that too are undocumented. They are tired, they worked hard here for years and found out in the end that there was no sense of purpose than to pay rent and eat year after year.

Try and consult with a Canadian attorney that is not-for profit and look into acquiring points through their green card through work; just have it in the system pending. When I took the test, I met all requirements to pass. I was just too young for anyone to take me seriously.

Don't wait from the American politicians. The progress in this country comes very slowly.

Just go talk to an attorney that is free of charge, ask for suggestions...
