I hope that was the situation. I hope that the Dems. did not know about that concession around September . . .

Nothing against you. Shit just rocks my world . . . All of us are going throught so much shit . . . it's unexplainable. I feel anger, disgust, . .

It was by eliminating the pathway to citizenship through the bill, and substituting instead some form of renewable non-immigrant visa status for the DREAMers.

I explained this concept to the Democrats, but they were reluctant to accept this major concession. I understood then, and I understand now. This is a substantial difference, and for many of the folks involved in this issue, this was, to quote Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, and my colleague in the Conservatives for Comprehensive Immigration Reform coalition, “a bitter pill to swallow."

Wow, this makes me sad and pisses me off. Why wasn't this version pushed for earlier? I was never aware of this. If the non-immigrant visa alternative could have gotten the 60 votes then, we would all be legal now if such a version had been pushed in 2010. Why does this send a chill down my spine?
Because it was a Democrat bill and a path to USC.

DA User, I do not want to sound confrontational. But, why do you come across like a freaking robot?

I was explaining that the reason it did not pass is because the Dem bill had a direct path to USC and it would grant conditional GC right away.

Ok. That's better. But, in general though, you kind of tend to come across as a robot . . .

Are you a male or female?

have you ever felt so hungry that you'll just about to eat anything you see that's edible?

yea that's US.
I completely agree with you. I personally want a path to citizenship because that is my dream. But my birthday is in a few days and I'm realizing now is our chance to get something tangible. So I guess I'm on board for just a visa and second class citizenship.

Hey Guys, I just woke up from a huge sleep haaha! I'm totally jet lagged. I got into Australia at five am this morning, it's now three pm here. Just checked in with the fam and came here for a minute. It seems as if trends seem encouraging at the moment. Oh yeah by the way Sydney is amazing, everyone is nice here to death.

The Rubio DA seems to be making progress, but it's going to come back to the House GOP in my mind, they will make or break this resolution. I think that is the consensus.
