Okay guys.. let me try to explain (someone correct me if I'm wrong)..

Yesterday: Cloture on the committee reported substitute amendment, as amended, invoked in Senate by Yea-Nay Vote. 67 - 31. Record Vote Number: 164

Just now: They agreed to accepting the amended bill S. 744, 68-32.

Later: Cloture vote on S. 744 (first cloture was on limiting debate for the amended version, this will be on limiting debate for S. 744).
After: Vote on S. 744

Note: Cloture = Limiting debate

The final vote on the bill won't be until tomorrow.

OMG OMG OMG final vote could be today!!

Could end up today. Cloture times is scheduled to end today at 4 pm.

Update: CSPAN says FINAL VOTE 4pm EST.

what the hell is she talking about??..she still wants to amend the bill???

Once cloture is invoked, debate is limited to a certain amount of time. In that amount of time, debate is allowed, as well as voting on amendments. Once the debate time expires, there is a final vote. This is regular order.

so is the final passage vote today?

CSPAN says it will be at 4pm EST today. I'm assuming that's if everything stays on schedule.
