Heartless. Another year of uncertainty? Seriously? Sometimes I take a step back, and look at this whole situation and cannot believe this is real life.

Fuck that, they better allow initial applications if they are extending it.

Another year? Wtf my permit lasted for way more than that. Why not just go and re authorize the program how it was but through Congress

They cannot do this; it's the worst possible strategy.

They will waste votes for what is essentially a one-year stay of deportation. It also sets a horrible precedent for CIR.

Neither Democrats nor Republicans of character support this.

Welcome to the real world. Thats what happens when you step out of the illuision that is this democratic system.

Most people cant take the truth and just step right on back. Believing that "last time was just a fluke". But how many flukes have we had sincr 2010. These ppl dont give a fuck about us. They want most of us gone and the rest they will use as a political stunt for the elections like someone mentioned up there.

A one year punt won't happen, it puts the issue in play for the midterms. The only way the R's would agree to a one year punt is that they get 60% of the Goodlatte bill.

Thats what they want. They want all the 1.1 that didnt sign up to resgister. The whole point of DACA wasnt to give us relief. It was to weed out the people they wanted in this country and the ones they did not.

Itll defeat the purpose to just now hand over amnesty to 1.1mil that werent filtered out. Open your minds, think like the government and you'll see what theyre doing. Their job isnt to act like mother Terissa. Their job is to make sure the machine that is a nation is running properly and smoothly. And to eliminate anything that could rust its parts.

This is all I want at this point.

And let me just wallow in my misery and cackle at their spinelessness. It's really sad to see both sides are considering throwing in the towel when they seemed so hopeful of an agreement after they re-opened the government.

In hindsight, how could Graham, Durbin, and Flake (well no surprise there with the last one) be so naive to say that there was path forward and that they were in the "last 10 yards". It's like they didn't really want to try.
