Biden said it, Pelosi said it, even Manchin agreed with it. 10 Republicans are going to vote for a infrastructure bill because of course the will, they need to bring the bacon back to their states, it would be completely stupid to lock themselves out of funding.

The issue here has always been whether the parliamentarian will agree to allow immigration related subjects onto the reconciliation bill - that’s it. Don’t pay attention to the theater and don’t feed into it.

That and whether all Dems will vote for Reconciliation version. It’s also my understanding that Manchin will consider reconciliation if bipartisan talks fail.

I'm fairly certain budget reconciliation will pass as dems do have priorities other than immigration. The real roadblock is if Byrd rule will allow immigration into the bill.
