No update from my end. Things have been pretty quiet around here lately? I guess the scare of Trump taking the white house has settled down.

Btw, when did you file and what state are you located in ?

I'm early in the game, application delivered on 03/05/18. I just received text and email notification that my application was excepted and is being transferred to the national benefits center for processing. The waiting has officially begun🤔🤔

The process is very long, but well worth it. The official "waiting" period is actually after bio metrics. You don't receive that many updates and often wonder what could be the issue. Still, I have no second thoughts it is the right decision for those who are ready to take such a step.

Yeah, it has been quiet. Still, the administration cannot alter the process of AOS through spouse as it was created by law through the Congress.

Don't wanna say my location, but sent in since late May 2017. After Biometrics, there has been practically nothing updated. Now, I have been reading that this case transfer thing might be a good thing, but I will see when the notice comes.

Thanks, I know, I have a long waiting period in front of me. I was just happy everything was accepted, since I self filed. Hope you get through with everything soon, since you are coming up on a year soon.

Why is your AOS being transferred? Didn't your application ended up at the NBC?

There's two reasons for transfers:
1) To another processing center due to caseloads
2) To a field office for an interview.

If you see that the I-130 or I-485 ended up at a field office expect an interview.

The receipt number of my 130 ans 485 starts with MSC. There is not record for any of forms on the processing time table show on the USCIS website for the MSC center. is that normal ?

MSC is the same as the National Benefits Center (NBC).

I'm confused cuz Ianus said that his case was transferred to the NBC. I always thought that AOS cases start at NBC then get transferred to local offices for interviews.

How do I check if it has been transferred? The only thing that changed on the website was when they approved my EAD. The advanced parole receipt number didn’t change when I was approved. It still say they received my case for advanced parole.
