LOLOLOL on your first sentence. but your second thinking..okay, the way i see it is...the parents BROKE the law..if you are able to adjust them..that gives people the right to say its "amnesty" because it will allow the kid to petition the parents later on. its just foolish (in my opinion) if they allow the parents to benefit from dream act later on.

how about we give up on reproduction, in exchange to apply our parents ? those people should be smart, it's a good trade, we can produce 10 kids ? but only apply for 2
parents ? GOD DAMN, what has America come to...

1. only student that obtained or perusing a master degree or higher are to be considered for student visa.
2. work visa is given to whom are not in school (but must obtain a master degree or higher), but must find a job within a given time frame.
3. pay a fine.
4. chain migration ? this is a tough one.

but guys when we are making it stricter, please leave some room for negotiation.
master's degree are you effing serious? BA degree is good enough these days. i dont wanna get a masters in media studies.. -_-

We gotta keep thinking of ways to totally cut it back.

If Durbin sees this, he will fully comprehend just how desperate we are for a chance. He may then convey this message to the rest of r-tards in congress, and get something passed.

They think it's easy for us to just "wait a few more years." I'm done with that bullshit.

I definitely think Dream Act should be more strict. And I agree with the changes thedream stated, but also add thorough and strict background checks, fingerprinting, etc. because I don't think that language is in the bill right now... it's implied, but it's not actually stated. We just need to have "good moral character" but it doesn't say how to figure out if we do have good moral character. (correct me if I'm wrong about the language)

I wouldn't even mind just the 5 year work or student visas Hutchinson proposed and to wait in back of the line as long as we could work and stay here while we wait to become permanent residents.

No chain migration, after all this bill is for us kids, not the parents or siblings that don't qualify. I know it's harsh and I may be biased because my parents and siblings aren't in this country, but if we want more support, we can't bring in more people. Or at least wait for a significant number of years before we can petition for anyone. And if we do have the work/student visas, we wouldn't be able to petition anyway, but once we get LPR then wait a certain number of years before we can petition.

I'm not sure what those ways are, but I do know that we have a lot of work to do to get dream passed.

let us not get lazy.
take it up a notch..

a. lower age that came here to 14.
b. valid transcript from High School (they make a phonecall where we graduated)
c. a job sponsor or a institute
d. citizenship is not obtainable
b,c, and d are acceptable.
i'm not touching age limit though. That one's just too controversial/delicate.
for instance, if you do that, lilbawler doesn't qualify anymore.
i don't even like the 30 age limit. I'd rather it be at least 35.
