so anyone who already signed up the contract, did your recruiter gave an insight about the naturalization process or at least ask you to get a form and fill them out (n-400)..

my recruiter didn't even mention about that and i heard some one who did do that...

From what I gathered from non-DACA MAVNIs you'll be required to fill N-400 once you start boot camp. You will be naturalizing due to "qualifying military service". After you get through boot you'll have a USCIS agent review your file, and you'll have the naturalization ceremony.

Yes you pick the job (MOS) and sign the contract/enlist with your terms, after that there's 9 to 12 months of background check, and then you go to basic training.

The early phase of the basic training is called 'reception', which is where you will hand in all the paperwork including the naturalization app.

From what I've been seeing, people are seldom getting naturalized at the end of Basics as advertised though, whether it's because of the backlog/changes in policies, more than likely you'll get naturalized in the weeks after during the job training.

Gotcha, I got a little confused there, I thought I was supposed to get a packet right after I signed the contract. Nice thing about the Army reserve is they'll give you BAH which will pay for your rental (just fyi). You guys going active or reserves?

The new policy will not let you pick MOS unless you pass the ssbi

^Doesn't that apply for Active duty only? I was told that reserve is not affected by that delayed entry MOS/process.
