Honestly, this is just waiting for a lawsuit to be adjusted.

Adjusted so the people expiring after March 5, 2018 will have a chance and guidance to renew but no new applications will be allowed.

Reference: Look at the Muslim travel ban allowing more family relatives after action was taken and optics were calculated.

What part is unclear? That says exactly what I posted. Current pending applications will still be processed along with all renewals sent in between now and October 5 as long as the expiration is before March 5 2018

And then what; March applicants get extra two years? Do we get to work/stay if ours expires past March 2018?

I guess what I'm saying is, get ready to pack for March or when our permits expire (for those past March)?

You'll be able to work until your permit expires, so it depends on when your EAD expiration date is.
