I wonder if there was a way you could communicate with Durbin... I be he'd like to know what you've been up to. I'm really proud of you for having the courage to start a new life in a new country... i dont think i would have the guts to do that.

Sorry, but you'd lose 200 euros. You need to have a legal family member that is an immediate relative in order to qualify & Brother-sister relations don't count towards that requirement under the law. There could be a possibility of coming back legally to the US but I'd explain it over p.m. only.

BTW,Welcome back to DAP fellow Dreamer.

It makes me feel better to know that we do sometimes win.
This is sorta true, everything does feel a bit different & it is better just to keep the experience of being undocumented to yourself even though you know things were never normal before.

wow 1982. i can't believe you went back to ireland. I'm guessing that's where you're from? i don't remember very well. it's been a while.

as for tasksgirl, congrats to you and your husband. I remember just how much stress she was in, when she'd tell us the stories of having to ride the bus with a bunch of creepy guys, getting her first car (i think) etc.

YES I had my waiver appointment for September 4. I got EXTREME goosebumps when I found the airline ticket from Dream Act and realized I was going to be having my waiver appointment THE EXACT SAME DAY.. I told my husband is that a good thing or a bad thing?? Well seems like it was a good thing! I had forgotten that was the same day until you reminded me just now! That is so freaking ironic what the HELL! lol I am sorry but WHOA.. fate??!
