How Long thus it take to get a Bio appointment after they received it, they sent me a receipt that they received it on the 9th but I haven't heard anything from them since then. How can I get ELIS account?

none! once you AOS illegal presence and work is pardoned. why do you think so many people in this forum AOS and have been illegal prior to DACA.

Any clue as to what these procedural changes are? More staff hired? Technical changes?

My bios notice was uploaded to ELIS yesterday.. It only took them 75+days lol.

Went this morning to my ASC to walk-in but was rejected by the manager because there were too many people. I told him I didn't mind waiting but he said no and to come back later. Went back around 1:30 PM and was in and out in 5 minutes. I literally filled up the form and on the way to my seat was called up. Manager did tell me that doing walk-ins wouldn't speed up your process (something I'm sure we talked about before on this forum), nonetheless, won't hurt.

All of these nonsense can be avoided if they simply change the wording on I-797c letters to extend our work authorization until we are approved or denied. They do this for TPS. I don't know why they don't see that something soooooo simple can actually solve the issue.

one more thing, do they just give you one right on the spot or do they call you back?

thanks so much
I honestly don't remember but just follow the instructions.. everyone in here has been able to speak with reps. I was given a call back by help desk but other people were given the code on the spot.

I'm really, really hesitant to do a walk-in, I'm trying to find out if the field office my appointment is at seems to be okay with walk ins, can't find much info besides doing walk-ins does not sped up the process and if you do go do a walk in, to go the same weekday your appointment is on. Mine's on a Wednesday, which might not work for me because of work. Hey, maybe I can use that as an excuse

Don't call them.. they will tell you no. If you go to USCIS website, it will say by appointment only. If you want do to it I say go after in the afternoon as they seem to be slow at that time.
